Our approach to safety & privacy

Our Family English Play & Coffee meetups are parent-led, friendly and relaxed. We meet in cozy cafés or parks, and the goal is simply to let kids play while hearing natural English around them.

To keep everything safe and comfortable for everyone, here’s how it works:

1. Parents supervise their children at all times

We do not provide childcare or supervision. Meetups are simply a gathering of families — just like meeting friends in a café or a park. Every parent is fully responsible for their child’s safety and behaviour.

2. Small groups = calmer, safer play

We keep our meetups small (usually 5-7 families). This helps kids feel comfortable and keeps the atmosphere warm and predictable.

3. Exact location shared only with confirmed families

To avoid overcrowding and keep meetups safe, the full location is sent only in the mini-chat for confirmed families. The main WhatsApp group sees only the district/neighbourhood.

4. Parent-led, not a class

There are no lessons, no teachers and no structured childcare. We simply create a space where English appears naturally through songs, play and friendly conversation.

5. Participation is voluntary

Joining a meetup means you accept the parent-led model. Every family attends at their own discretion, just like in any other public space.

6. Photos

We do not take or publish identifiable photos of children or families without explicit parental consent. Any photos we share are general, atmosphere-only pictures.
